Luanda — Domingos Gomes, Emanuel Mendes, Bruno and Armando Manuel Zibungana, newly graduated singers in lyric song in Cuba, are holding this Wednesday in Luanda a concert on lyric song at the premises of the Angolan League of Friendship and Solidarity with the Peoples (LAASP).
Speaking to ANGOP, the official in charge of the event, Domingos Gomes stated that the concert aimds to present to the Angolan people what the singers really learned during the five years of training abroad.
"As a thank you to the ministries of Culture and Higher Education, we will show what we have learned because there are few lyric song performers in the country", he said.
Domingos Gomes, Emanuel Mendes, Bruno and Armando Zibungana Manuel Neto began their studies in 2007 in Cuba at the Higher Education Art Institute (ISA), the School of Music and they are the first Angolans to be graduated in Lyric Song.
