Angola: Former Football Star Might Occupy Vice Chair of Federation

Luanda — The renowned former striker of Petro de Luanda and the national squad, Osvaldo Saturnino de Oliveira "Jesus", might take the post of vice chairman for national teams of the Angolan Football Federation (FAF), whose election is scheduled for December 15, ANGOP has learnt.

According to a source with the only contesting list for FAF's board, of which Jesus is part, this move comes after requests made by the provincial associations, during an ordinary general assembly, held on November 17, in Luanda.

The current FAF vice chairman for national teams is José Luis Prata.

Jesus has already held this post under the presidency of Armando Machado.

The campaign is set to start this Wednesday.
