Mauritania began construction of 13 solar power plants in the Gorgol and Hodh regions, PANA reported on Monday (November 26th). The United States and the United Nations provided financing for the energy initiative.
The projects will improve the lives of citizens, fight poverty and reduce unemployment, officials said at the project launch.
