Algeria Prepares for Local Elections

Algerian police, gendarmerie squads and military forces have intensified security measures ahead of the local elections on Thursday, Echorouk reported on Tuesday (November 27th).

According to the Algerian daily, security forces have heightened border control measures and boosted their presence around public buildings, military barracks, transport stations, major thoroughfares, markets and other strategic sites to avert any possible terrorist attack.
