South Africa: Appointment of an Acting Judge of the Constitutional Court

President Jacob Zuma, empowered by Section 175 (1) of the Constitution, has appointed an acting judge of the Constitutional Court.

The President has appointed Madam Justice Nonkosi Zoliswa Mhlantla of the Supreme Court of Appeal to act as a Judge of the Constitutional Court from 1 February 2013 to 31 May 2013 in the place of Mr Justice Cameron who will be on vocational leave during that period.

"I wish Madam Justice Mhlantla well in the crucial responsibility of serving the nation at this level," said President Zuma.
