Kenya: Etihad Wins Belgium Travel Award

ETIHAD Airways which started flights to Nairobi in April has stepped up local competition for flights outside the continent by being named as best long haul flight at Belgium's 15th annual Travel Magazine awards held last week.

There are already several award winning airlines operating from Nairobi including Kenya Airways and Korean Air and the latest achievement by Etihad steps up competition and will make customers spoilt for choice.

This is the first time Etihad Airways has won the prestigious Belgian travel industry award, beating five other long-haul carriers operating to and from Brussels International Airport.

Etihad operates a daily flight from Nairobi via Abu Dhabi to various European and Far East destinations key among them China, popular with business travellers from Kenya.
