Eritrea: Meetings Conducted in Afabet and She'ib With a View to Enhancing Youth Role

Afabet — Meetings have been conducted in Afabet and She'ib semi-urban centers with a view to enhancing youth role.

Chairing the seminar in Afabet in which NUEYS members, civil servants and Aread Administrators participated, Mr. Abdu Mohammed Talke, Administrator of Afabet sub-zone, noted the crucial role of youths in development and change.

Mr. Abdu called on youths to enhance efforts to this end, and asserted that the Administration would collaborate with them. The meeting further adopted decisions that would reinforce executive approaches of concerned bodies in this regard.

Meanwhile, reports indicated that the inhabitants of She'ib have extended a total of 100,000 Nakfa in pursuit of the intention to raise youths' production capacity.

Mr. Ahmed Jaefer, head of the NUEYS branch in the Northern Red Sea region, called on pertinent bodies to reinforce integrated ventures towards equipping youths for national development and bequeathing national values to them.
