Angola: Russian Ambassador Bids Farewell to President

Luanda — Angolan Head of State José Eduardo dos Santos Wednesday in Luanda received farewell greetings from the Russian ambassador to Angola, Serguey Nenáchev, at the end of his five-year term in the country.

Speaking to reporters at the end of 30-minute audience, Serguey Nenáchev said he availed himself the occasion to exchange with the president the information on the state of bilateral relations.

He described as "excellent and intense" the relations between the two countries in various fields, with emphasis on the political, economic and military-technical cooperation.
