Angola: Govt Works to Relaunch Maritime Transports

Luanda — The Angolan Government has working for the relaunching of the maritime transports through Secil Maritima company as a public firm, said the director of Port maritime institute, Victor Alexandre, Angop has learnt.

He said that despite Secil Maritima, the relaunch will also comprise other companies that will appear in the ambit of the passengers and goods maritime transports, as well as shipping services.

Victor Alexandre also said studies and interventions are in progress in the Angolan ports, which will enable to increase their capacities and improve the operational levels, such as increasing containers parks in ports of Lobito, Namibe and Soyo.
