Angola: Nation Represented By Three Teams At Basketball Cup

Luanda — With three teams and the same number of referees, Angola is the country mostly represented at the African champion clubs championship of male basketball, set for November 29 and December 10, in Malabo, Equatorial Guinea, Angop has learnt.

Angola, the greatest power in Africa in Basketball is represented by Recreativo do Libolo, National champions, 1º de Agosto and Petro de Luanda.

Among the referees are Carlos Júlio, Fernando Pacheco and Manuel Domingos, in a list of 16 referees and four commissioners, according to Fiba-Africa website.

Other teams that will participate in the competition are Al Ahly and Ettehad of Alexandria (Egypt), ASB Mazembe, of Drc, Espoir (Rwanda), Abidjan Basket Club (Cote D'Ivoire), Etoile Sportive du Sahel, (Tunisia), Kano Pillar (Nigeria), Manga BB (Gabon) and Mangomo Basket Clube (Equatorial Guinea).
