Luanda — The Ministry of Energy and Water (Minea) will promote on 29 - 30 November in Luanda a conference on renewable energy under the motto "Together in promotion of sustainable energy for all."
The information is contained in a note released by Minea delivered Wednesday to ANGOP, stating that the meeting will serve to approach the topics such as "renewable energy sources, hybrid systems and storage".
"The challenges of renewable energy in Angola", "hybrid systems and rationalisation of costs of renewable energy systems "and" solar photovoltaic systems on self-consumption:
technical trends and implications on energy storage, are also among the issues to be addressed.
The participants will also discuss "Management and energy efficiency", "rational use of electricity," use of solid waste to produce electricity," "bioclimatic architecture", "use of biomass, firewood and charcoal, " rural electricity", "public policies as support to the
development of renewable energy "and" energy education".
