Tunisia: Four NCA Members Stage Open-Ended Sit-in

Bardo — Three members from the Ennahdha caucus in the National Constituent Assembly (NCA) Yamina Zoghlami, Baya Jaouadi and Latifa Habbachi, and Democratic caucus member Foued Thameur started, on Wednesday, an open-ended sit to protest against the NCA's performance and the way the institution operates.

This sit-in is meant to be a symbolic gesture to sensitise the other NCA members to the need to attend the Assembly's works and improve its efficiency, away from the quotas policy and political calculations, said the sit-inners.
