Tunisia: Bilateral Co-Operation Reviewed

Carthage — President Moncef Marzouki received, on Wednesday, French Senate Speaker Jean-Pierre Bel.

The meeting turned on means to boost bilateral co-operation, a communiqué of the Presidency of the Republic reads.

Mr. Bel expressed confidence in the success of the democratic process in Tunisia which "is a model in the region," asserting that his country "is following with admiration the drafting of a consensual Constitution, the creation of legislative authorities and setting the dates for the next big events as the elections," the communiqué reports.
