Kenya: Matatu Crew Members Harrasing Motorist As They Protest New Traffic Laws

Thousands stranded as public service vehicles in Nairobi go on strike over the new traffic law.

Police have been mobilized to major routes in and around Nairobi where people believed to be matatu crews are harassing motorists as they protest the new traffic laws. The matatu operators for Ngong Road, Ongata Rongai , Naivasha Road, City centre, Ruaka , Limuru have downed their tools . Here is traffic commandant Ben Kibue.
