The Car and General Training School has been certified by Cummins to train technicians who provide after sales service for Cummins diesel engines and generators.

The listed company is the main distributor for Cummins generators, engines and parts in Kenya, Burundi, Ethiopia, Djibouti, Eritrea, Rwanda, Seychelles, Somalia, South Sudan, Tanzania and Uganda.

Cummins training manager Patrick Dowsett, presented the certificate to Car and General's regional service manager for East Africa Erick Sangoro, training manager John Jutson and technical trainer Steve Dass,at a ceremony held at the Car and General Cummins Training School in Nairobi.

"We focus on providing quality products and after sales service. The aim of the school is to ensure that there are trained technicians in the region to maintain Cummins products.," said Sangoro.
