The battle for Bungoma governorship intensifies as aspirants stake a claim on the seat. Assistant Minister in theOffice of the President Alfred Khanga'ti and former Livestock Permanent Secretary Kenneth Lusaka are especially vocal in their bid.
The two are trying to achieve regional balancing. Khang'ati on an ODM ticket and Lusaka with New Ford-Kenya. However speaking at a stakeholders meeting in Bungoma yesterday, Khanga'ti said his focus is mainly on visionary leadership.
"The most important thing is to vote in correct leadership irrespective of where they come from ,"he said. He said if elected governor he will be all inclusive to accommodate every region and tribe in the cosmopolitan Bungoma county.
