Nigeria: Steer Clear of Crime, Magistrate Tells Jos Students

Jos — A Plateau State chief magistrate, Venchak Gaba, has warned students of the Federal College of Veterinary and Medical Laboratory Technology in Vom, Plateau State, to shun criminal tendencies and acts.

"As a father, I know how it feels to have to send a student to jail, but I have a job to do and have had to send many students to jail.

Therefore, I am asking you to keep away from anything that could earn you a jail term because once you go to jail and come out as an ex-convict, it will not be good for you," Gaba told the students during the inauguration of their union executives.
