Egypt: Average Annual Income of Family Is Le 25, 000

According to a study by the Central Agency for Public Mobilization and Statistics (CAPMAS), the average annual income of Egyptian family hit LE25, 353 in 2010/2011.

The annual income of Egyptian families in the urban areas reached LE 30, 205 compared to LE 370, 21 in rural areas, the CAPMAS said.

Work revenues account for 70.4 per cent of annual income of Egyptian families, it added.
