Matatu operators protesting the new traffic laws that come into effect this Saturday are being accused of harassing and robbing motorists. Police have used tear gas canisters to disperse a group of matatu operators who had blocked the road in Ruaka. In Ngong, some operators have been arrested for robbing motorists.
