Nigeria: Kogi Subeb Warns Contractors Against Shoddy Jobs

Lokoja — The Kogi State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB) has warned contractors bidding for jobs under the board against poor execution.

The Permanent Member 1, who is also the chairman, Kogi State Universal Basic Education Tender Board, Mr. Olugbenga Olounnipa, gave the warning yesterday in Lokoja during the bid opening process. He said the process was in response to UBEC/SUBEB project intervention for infrastructural development in schools across the state.

He added that the projects are located at the primary and junior secondary schools in the state, and that all contract documents as regard the jobs are provided for according to the provisions of the Due Process and the Public Procurement Act.
