Luanda — Angola will participate with the candidatures in the innovation prize for Africa in the categories of agriculture, environment, energy, technologies, water, health, information technologies and communications, production and industrial services, Angop has learnt.
The winner of this edition will benefit from an amount estimated at USD 100.000, the second and the third ones USD 25.000 each.
The dead line for the handing over of the candidatures has been postpones for November 30, to increase the number of candidatures that was 450.
"We intend to encourage youngsters from all over the continent to be interested in career in the areas of science, technologies", says a source with the Innovation for Africa and of the UN Economic Commission for Africa.
