Archbishop of Lagos, Most Rev. Adewale Martins, has advised Nigerians to imbibe the culture of using modern technologies and their resources to preach the gospel, promote human value and impacted the society positively.
Speaking during commissioning, first convocation and award ceremony of Centre for Media Development, CMD, in Lagos, Bishop Adewale, extolled the power of the media for evangelism and encouraged Christians to embrace it.
He appreciated the effort of Archbishop Emeritus of Lagos, Anthony Okogie who inaugurated the centre two years ago, saying the centre was significant in the life of Catholics, especially in the archdiocese of Lagos.
He added that the centre would serve as an added advantage to evangelise the word of God.
He said: "Everything that happens is God's providence and not accidental." The establishment of the Centre is not an accident."

"God has given us more medium to carry out the task of evangelism. We thank God for providing this huge institution for the purpose of evangelism."
