Nigeria: Abubakar - We Need to Do More to Win War Against Terrorism

The Inspector General of Police (IG), Mohammed Abubakar Thursday stated that for the country to make headway in its fight against terrorism there is need to do more as a country as war against terrorism is now technologically driven.

According to him, fighting terrorism required a lot, as there is need to acquire sophisticated equipment to complement their efforts rather only than deploying soldiers and policemen on the field.

Abubakar, who was represented by CSP FCT Command, Gabriel Elaigwu disclosed this in Abuja at the 2012 annual national conference of the Hospitality And Tourism Management Association of Nigeria (HATMAN); with the theme "Tourism, Hospitality and Security in Nigeria; The Critical Relationship".
