Uganda/Somalia: Somalia Dumped Out of Cecafa As Games Continue
29 November 2012
Namboole, Kampala — Somalia put up a hard fight but the effort still couldn't save the Horn of Africa state from an early exit from the CECAFA Tusker Challenge Cup tournament.
Sam Ssimbwa's side was sent packing by a Farid Mohammed 86th minute goal on Wednesday.
As Somalia mourned, Sudan's qualification hopes were boosted. Sudan have to beat Burundi on Saturday to be assured of a quarter final slot.
