Second runner-up of this year’s Battle of the Bands, Patricia Ochurus, will have a show at Zenso Lounge Bar on Friday, November 30.
The singer, dancer and a player of the acoustic guitar, specialising in Afro-fusion – a blend of traditional and modern music, has built her career on her experiences over the years.
Patricia has shared the stage as a backing vocalist for some of Namibia’s veteran musicians, such as late Jackson Kaujeua, the late Willie Collins, Willie Mbuende, Ras Sheehama, composers Axalie Doeseb, P H Kisting, Nicro //Hoabeb and many more.
Patricia now stands on her own two feet as a musician and has even performed outside Namibia – in Abuja, Nigeria earlier this year.
She currently performs with her own backing band called The Heritage Band, popularly known as Patricia and Friends.
Other artists who will feature at the show are Papa Shikongeni, Ras Sheehama, Ten Ten and Tunakie.
Tickets cost N$50 and are available at Computicket. The show starts at 19h00.
