Gambia Targets Test Match in December

Gambia is lining up yet another friendly after the proposed test match with Serie A side Sena failed to hold.

The Scorpions plan to makeup for the failed Rome game with another friendly proposed in December, an impeccable source at the Gambia Football Association tells Foroyaa Sports.

The team to engage the Scorpions this time has not however been disclosed as at yet.

The normalisation Committee is struggling to stage a game for the squad in what will be their first conducted test match since taking over the reins at the GFA March this year.

The team -comprising local based players - continues to train and a friendly in next month avails gaffer Mancini chance to assess his side and keep fit ahead of their World Cup qualifier in March 2013.
