Namibia: African Naturals Starts a Natural Hair Meet-Up

Windhoek — Hair products, hair typing, natural hair recipes and natural hair styles are on the agenda for Namibia's first Natural Hair Meet-up taking place here tomorrow at the Zenso Lounge between 10H00 - 13H00 There will be a showcase of products, talks on natural hair tips, embracing your natural beauty and hair texture and sharing something that many people are experiencing.

Embrace your hairitage is the theme of this event, which intends to educate, motivate and empower naturals about the importance of taking care of natural hair, which not only enhance one's natural beauty, but also saves time and money. Zodidi Gases, organiser of the event says: "We need to value and celebrate our natural hair. Curly hair is never something to hide. The key to loving your curls is learning how to properly manage and style them, and this is what the event teaches."She continues that attendees "can expect a fun learning experience about your natural hair, styles, and experiences of other naturals.

It will be a wonderful African atmosphere." Spectacular entertainment including a live performance by Blossom is also in store for those attending. Attendees also stand a chance to win great prizes, meet great neutralists and pick up the best hair care and style information along the way.

The participation fee is N$ 50 children under ten years enter for free with a paying adult.

"We urge everyone who has natural hair, is aspiring to go natural, would love to know more about styles to come and mingle with likeminded people. African Naturals invites you to attend in celebration of natural hair," Gases lures the public to the event.

    This is awesome. I knew nothing about the natural hair movement in Namibia. Where can I learn more?
