Tunisia's New Freedom House Ranking to Be Announced By Mid-January - David Kramer

Tunis — Freedom House Executive Director David Kramer said Thursday that Tunisia moved upwards, following the January 14 Revolution, in the organisaion's rankings in 2011 from no-free category to partly-free category.

"For 2012, the new ranking will be announced in the organisation's report to be published by mid-January 2013," he added, underlining that this ranking has been made on the basis on 23 criteria pertaining to respect of human rights and consecration of freedoms.
