Tunisia: PM Receives President of Paca Region

Kasbah — Prime Minister Hamadi Jebali received, on Thursday in Tunis, Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur (PACA) Region President Michel Vauzelle.

The latter assured "France is following developments in Tunisia," re-asserting his country's commitment to "support the achievement of the Revolution objectives in Tunisia and make of the democratic process a success," a communiqué of the Prime Ministry reports.

Besides, he hailed the Tunisian government's will to adopt a moderate and efficient policy in its relations with the European Union.

Mr. Vauzelle pointed out that his country will carry on its fruitful co-operation on "equal footing" with Tunisia in all fields, highlighting Tunisia's key position in the region now and in the future, the communiqué reads.
