Gambia: Serekunda East League Final Set for Saturday

The Serekunda East Sports Deevelopment Committee will draw the curtain on the 2012 edition of its annual community Nawettan football competition when the finals of the League competition take place on Saturday.

Bakoteh-based Milan Roseneri will entertain traditional heavyweights Tallinding Kunjang based Medina FC. The two teams will square off in front of an expected capacity crowd at the Serekunda East Mini-Stadium opposite the Tallinding Buffer Zone for the D50,000 cash prize on offer and the right to play Macassa in the traditional curtain raiser Super Cup to mark the beginning of the 2013 edition.
