Gambia: Johaness Cleared to Play in Manjai League Final

Johaness FC of Kololi will now play the final of the 2012 edition of the Manjai Kunda Youth Development Association League against Fajara South on Saturday.

The team, under the guidance of Coach Alasan Mballow- playing the final of the Qcell sponsored tournament was in doubt after theywere initially booted out of the competition in controversial circumstances until theirreinstatement this week. The Manjai Committee had alleged that Jahoness had fielded an ineligible player-goalkeeper Malick Sowe in their semi-final meeting with Darusalam FC.
