Angola: Vice President Discusses Cooperation With Belgian Ambassador

Luanda — The vice president, Manuel Vicente, Friday received , in Luanda, the ambassador of the Kingdom of Belgium in Angola, Delogne Charles, with whom he analyze the bilateral relations.

At the end of the audience, the Belgian diplomat announced the coming to Angola next year, of a high-level delegation from his country, to integrate entrepreneurs who seek to promote wider cooperation.

He stated that during the meeting they discussed issues related to the situation prevailing in Southern Africa, with emphasis on the conflict in eastern Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC).

In this respect, Charles Delogne said, politically, Angola and Belgium argue for a negotiated solution to the cession of hostilities in the DRC, as well as respect for the sovereignty of this country.
