Egypt: Constitution's Blueprint to Be Presented to President Saturday

The blueprint of the new constitution of Egypt will be presented to President Mohamed Morsi on Saturday 01/12/2012 in preparation for putting it to public referendum, said head of the Constituent Assembly, in charge of writing the new constitution, Counselor Hossam el-Gheriani.

At the conclusion of the CA meeting, during which its members voted on each article of the draft constitution, Gheriani said he, along with the CA members, will head for the president to present him with the constitution's draft.

CA members will establish a constitution awareness panel to familiarize the public with the new constitution and their political rights, he said.
