Zimbabwe: 'We Have to Win'

Gwanda town was a hive of activity as Prime Minister Morgan Tsvangirai engaged the Matabeleland South, MDC Provincial leadership and discussed a number of issues relating to governance.

PM Tsvangirai who was accompanied by Vice President Thokozani Khupe and Secretary General Tendai Biti told the Matabeleland South Provincial council members that the party has to win the forthcoming elections.

"We have to win the next elections at all costs. Therefore, let us work hard together to ensure that we finish the race for the good of our nation," said PM Tsvangirai

He added that the country could not afford to witness yet another inclusive government since it was not good for the people.

"We do not want another inclusive government; it's not good for the people Let us hunt like a pride of lions to ensure outright victory," he said.

Soon after concluding the Gwanda meeting, PM Tsvangirai proceeded to Bulawayo where he is expected to engage the Bulawayo Provincial Council and then heads to Matabeleland North to meet the province's executive council.
