Egypt: FM in Germany to Review Morsy's Berlin Visit Arrangements

Foreign Minister Mohamed Amr has concluded a visit to Germany, where he attended the second round of the joint Egyptian-German committee, the Foreign Ministry said in a statement Friday 30/11/2012.

The committee meeting was held under the co-chairmanship of the foreign ministers of the two countries and with the participation of a number of officials from Egypt and Germany.

The statement said the meeting discussed preparations for President Mohamed Morsy's visit to Germany late January, 2013.

Egypt and Germany agreed on carrying out a number of joint projects at a total cost of 80 million euros, it noted.

The statement said the joint ventures will be probed during a meeting of the committee concerned with technical and economic cooperation between Egypt and Germany, to be held in Cairo on December 11-12.
