Egypt: 5-Ton Granite Painting of Ramsis II Discovered

An Egyptian-French archeological mission concerned with excavations in Luxor discovered a 5-ton granite painting and a road that leads to the temple, said Dr. Mohamed el-Beyali the head of the Ancient Egyptian Monuments.

El-Beyali added that the mission is working to include Ramsis II, his wife and mother in the granite painting in addition to continued excavation and restoration works.
