Egypt: Morsy Stresses Respect for Principle of Separation of Authorities

President Mohamed Morsy stressed keenness on the principle of separation of authorities as one of the most important elements of a modern state.

After performing Friday prayer on 30/11/2012, Morsy said that he issued the Constitutional Declaration with the aim of maintaining security and stability of the country because he saw that the revolution is in danger.

President Morsy said that the issuance of the Constitutional Declaration meets requirements of this stage, which he described as very short but very serious and important in the march of our nation.

President Morsy stressed that the Constitutional Declaration will lose its value and will be null and void once the new constitution set for referendum and approved by the people.
