Western Sahara: SADR Attends AU Conference of Social Development Ministers

Addis Ababa — The Saharawi Arab Democratic Republic (SADR) is taking part at the Third Session of the African Union Conference of the Ministers of Social Development, held on 26-30 Nov 2012 in Addis Ababa under the theme "Promoting the Rights and Welfare of Persons with Disabilities".

The Conference focuses on the outcome of the meeting of AU Social Developments Experts. It also considers the policy, activities and organizational structures to improve the lives of persons with disabilities in the Continent, as well as the measures to facilitate the implementation of the Social Policy Framework for Africa.

The Conference will come up with a set of recommendations, resolutions and a final communiqué on various topics related to social development in the Continent.

SADR is represented by a delegation from its Embassy and Permanent Mission to the African Union in Addis Ababa led by the Charge d'affaire of the Embassy Mr. Baba Omar Barudi.
