Western Sahara: Saharawi Republic Takes Part At Joint African Ministerial Conference of Agriculture and Trade

Addis Ababa — The Saharawi Republic is participating at the Joint African Conference of Agriculture and Trade, which opened Thursday at the African Union headquarters in Addis Ababa, capital of Ethiopia, under the motto "Boosting intra-African Trade: a key to agricultural transformation and ensuring food and nutrition security", according to a statement of SADR Embassy in Ethiopia.

The two-day conference addresses a broad range of issues related to agriculture in Africa; consider the results of the meeting of African senior officials and experts of trade and agriculture, and issue a range of recommendations and final communiqué on the relevant topics.

The Saharawi Republic is represented by a delegation includes the Minister of Development Mr. Naama Said Jamani, Charge d'Affaires of SADR Embassy and Permanent Mission to the African Union in Addis Ababa Mr. Baba Omar Barudi, National Director of Agriculture Mr. Najem Slama and the Advisor to the Minister of Trade Mr. Hafed Lehsen Ahmadu.
