Egypt: State Council's General Assembly Rejects Constitutional Decree

The State Council's General Assembly issued several recommendations following its meeting on Friday to discuss the repercussions of President Mohamed Mursi's constitutional decree.

According to al-Jazeera Mubasher Misr reporter, the recommendations of the assembly are:

- Complete rejection of the constitutional decree.

- Inviting all State Council advisors to a meeting next Sunday to discuss suspending their work.

- Annulling the membership of Mursi's legal advisor Mohamed Fouad Gadallah as well as the membership of Judges for Egypt.
