Nigeria: Omotola Is ELOY Actress of the Year

Nollywood's highest paid actress, Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde has been crowned actress of the year 2012 by the Exquisite Lady of the Year (ELOY) at a ceremony in Lagos, last Sunday

Omotola was nominated alongside Ini Edo, Funke Akindele and Nse Ikpe-Etim, but the mother of four emerged winner of the award for the role she played in the movie, 'Ties That Bind'.

Omotola is to start her reality show December 6th, this year on the African Magic Entertainment.

In another event, she will be contending with Genevieve and Rita for the place of most stylish actress in Nigeria at the FAB Awards which will hold in Lagos tomorrow.

Others contenders include, Naya and Nse Ikpe-Etim. The winner will be determined by online vote counts from fans.

Rita Dominic has severally won the best dressed actress awards though some fans who have expressed their views online think her chances are slim this time around due to the quality of the other contenders.
