THE department of Fine and Performing Arts, University of Dar es Salaam will stage a second Affordable Students' Art Exhibition at the Alliance Francaise Cultural Centre from December 5th to 15th this year.

Speaking to reporters, the Coordinator of Affordable Students' Art Exhibition, Kiagho Kilonzo, said the exhibition is intended to give students an opportunity to showcase their artworks to wide community of art lovers and stakeholders.

Kilonzo said the event also aimed at enabling student to practice and challenge their exhibition management skills that they gain in classrooms. "The objective of this show is to provide an opportunity for students to showcase their work to the community and expand their market.

"We have enough of artwork to showcase during the exhibition, so we will use this opportunity to impose reasonable price for those who need to buy them," said Kilonzo. He said the event will officially open of December 5th at 7.00 p.m. at Alliance Francaise Cultural Centre, Dar es Salaam.
