Eritrea: Joint Meeting Conducted With a View to Discussing Youth Issues

Ginda — The PFDJ branch and line ministries in Ginda sub-zone conducted a joint meeting with a view to discussing current youth issues. Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Ahmed Jaefer, Head of the NUEYS branch in the Northern Red Sea region, noted the key role of pertinent bodies as regards nurturing responsible youth generation, and that reinforcement of integrated venture is a major prerequisite to this end.

Likewise, Ms. Amna Haj Osman, Administrator of the sub-zone, said that development accomplishments being registered in the country attest to the prevailing spirit of steadfastness and commitment among youths, and asserted that the Administration would enhance collaboration with youths.

Presentations were also displayed pertaining to three year accomplishments in the domains of health, education, culture and sports, on the basis of which the participants conducted in-depth discussion. They further called for the publication of history of the armed struggle for independence, and its inclusion in the national curriculum.
