Somalia: Somali President Comes Back to Mogadishu

Mogadishu — Somalia's Federal Republic government President Hassn Sheikh Mohamud has on Friday returned back to Mogadishu after he paid an official tour in Djibouti and Ethiopia, two countries in the east Africa.

A special aircraft carrying a high-level delegation, among them foreign minister and defence minister led by Somali president touched down at Aden International airport in Mogadishu that largely protected by the African Union forces.

Several officials and MPs in Somalia government have warmly welcomed the president at the airport and escorted to the hill-top presidential palace, Villa Somalia.

The security of the airport and the entire capital was tightened by government and AMISOM forces a head of the president's arrival on Friday.

This is the second visit Somali president goes to aboard since MPs in the Federal Parliament elected him in September 10 as the new president of Somalia, for the firs free and fear election held in Somali capital for more than 42 years.
