Egypt: Electricity Minister - State of Emergency to Secure Electricity Stations

Electricity Minister Mahmoud Balbaa asked chiefs of electricity companies to continue the state of emergency in order to secure power stations nationwide.

The Minister also called for securing electricity supplies and deploying emergency grids in the vital areas.

Balbaa also issued directives to suspend periodic maintenance during this phase and cancel vacations.
