Engr. Muttaqha Rabe Darma yesterday handed over at the Petroleum Technology Development Fund (PTDF) following the expiration of his tenure as the agency's Executive Secretary.

Dr. Darma who was appointed on November 17, 2008, handed over to Mr. Jolomi Arenyaka, who was the General Manager, Projects and Technical Services Division of the Fund.

According to a statement from Head Corporate Affairs, PTDF, Kalu Otusi said the brief handover ceremony, took place on Thursday November 29, 2012.

Engr. Darma thanked the management and staff of the Fund for their co-operation in making his tenure a success.

According to him, "we achieved a lot working together as a team. We tried to do a lot of things that I felt were right. In the process, some may have felt slighted. To these people, I ask for your forgiveness'.'

Engr. Darma said the experience he gained serving as Executive Secretary of the PTDF will last him a lifetime. He urged his successor, though on acting capacity, to sustain the tempo through team work.

In his response, Mr. Arenyeka thanked Engr. Darma for his contributions to the realization of the mandate of the Fund and promised to do his best to keep the flag flying for the period he will serve in the capacity.
