Turum Valley — Unidentified gunmen shot a newly appointed firsha (local administrator) in Turum Valley, West Darfur on Wednesday, 28 November, witnesses told Radio Dabanga.

According to sources, besides being recently appointed as firsha, Khater was also a voluntary return official for Tulus.

The reason of the attack is still unknown.
