Kenya: Judiciary Urged to Sentence Some Offenders to Community Service

The judiciary has been urged to seek alternatives to custodial sentences to address especially population challenges arising in our prisons. Home Affairs PS Ludeki Chweya says some of the convicted offenders should be sentenced to serve under Probationary and Community Service Orders.
