Nigeria: Manor Pledges Compliance On Type Approve Phones

Manor Media Limited, dealer in mobile phone and its accessories, has reiterated its commitment to sell only phones type approved by the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC).

The promise is sequel to a recent closure of some shops in Lagos Computer Village by the enforcement unit of the NCC, over non compliance in selling NCC type approved phones.

Speaking to journalists shortly after the commissioning of the multi -million mobile phone, gadgets and devices complex, situated in Isheri area of Lagos, Managing Director, The Manor Media Ltd, Pastor Timmy Es, explained that the company had put certain things in place and being a distributor for most brands will sell phones that are approved by the NCC.

"A lot of things are done in this country without people knowing the right thing to do but the action of NCC is an eye opener to lots people who got into that business without knowing.

The manor, he said had put things in place to address such issues.

"The manor is a Phone company with the utmost intention to sell phones, I mean guaranteed telephones of the various brands such as Nokia Samsung, LG, Tecno, iphones and of course BlackBerry, laptops and accessories, she said".

According to her, "We noticed that in this country there are lapses when it comes to the quality of phones people buy, because lots of people buy phones because they want the best of services, to communicate effectively with other people but unfortunately, several times, people buy phones and they discover that the phone has problems. The Manor, she said, came into the industry with a pay off on warranty, "Your warranty is guaranteed."

She assured Nigerians of quality phones from Manor, which she said, come with warranty.

She explained that the decision to use the Isheri location, remained of utmost importance.

According to her, parking space and market congestion had been posing serious challenge to people who visit the place for shopping, and the Isheri location is already addressing that.

"So this location is strategic, since it is situated in an highbrow area along Isheri road in Ogba very close to Omole estate.

"People will be getting very good value for whatever they buy at the Manor with very affordable pricing," she said.
