Angola: Bar Launch Law for All Project in Southern Region

Lubango — The Bar Association in southern region of Angola Saturday in Lubango, Huila province, conducted free legal survey under the programme dubbed "Law for All".

The 24-member team comprises lawyers from the provinces of Huila, Namibe and Cunene.

The chairperson of the regional council of Bar Association, Idalina Rodrigues, told Angop that the move is intended to help those who can't afford to hire a lawyer, as well as knowing their rights of citizenship.

She explained that the project has the participation of members who voluntarily joined the initiative to support this cause, which is part of human rights and in solidarity with those who can not defend themselves.

The action, the first of the kind, is being jointly implemented with the provincial government, through justice ministry.
